Why it’s so relaxing
You don’t choose colours and you don’t draw. You pick up one pen, follow the dots, and let the rest of the day wait.
One thing to do
Colour every shape that has a dot. That’s the whole job, and your attention goes to the next small shape.
Nothing to get wrong
One colour, no pressure, and no skill needed. A shape coloured by mistake hardly shows once the rest are done.
A screen-free half hour
A paper book, a pen and a lamp. The phone can stay face down in the other room.
A picture at the end
Shape by shape, something comes through: a robin on the gate, or Grandad asleep in his paper hat.
Why it’s worth more than a cheap colouring book
| What you get | One Pen Pages | A cheap colouring book |
|---|---|---|
| One dark pen, no colours to choose | Yes | Needs a set of colours |
| Dots show where, and a picture comes through | Yes | No |
| 35 scenes, from easy to detailed, marked in the margin | Yes | Rarely marked |
| Every picture on its own sheet, nothing on the back | Yes | Often printed on both sides |
| 170 gsm paper, more than twice the weight of printer paper | Yes | Usually thinner |
| Spiral-bound, so it lies flat | Yes | Usually a glued spine |
| A left-handed version at the same price | Yes | Rarely |
| Tracked delivery in the price, date shown before you pay | Yes | Depends on the seller |
By a cheap colouring book we mean a typical paperback colouring book. Some will differ.
How a page works
Pick one dark pen.
Any fine felt tip or fineliner, 0.5 to 1 mm. Every shape is big enough for it.
Colour every shape that has a dot.
Leave the shapes without a dot white.
Watch the picture come through.
Shape by shape, at your own pace, with the rest of the day on hold.

Questions
Do I need special pens?
No. Any dark pen you like holding works: a felt tip, a fineliner or a gel pen. Pens aren’t included.
I can’t draw. Will I manage?
Yes. There’s no drawing at all: you colour each shape that has a dot and leave the rest white, and the picture comes through as you go.
What if I colour the wrong shape?
Carry on. Each picture is made of lots of small shapes, so one stray shape hardly shows once the rest is coloured.
Why does it cost more than colouring books on Amazon?
It’s printed when you order it, spiral-bound so it opens flat, with one picture to a sheet and nothing on the back. Every page is checked before a book is printed, and tracked delivery is in the price.
Is it a good gift?
It arrives ready to colour, and we post it straight to the address you give us. Pens aren’t included, so add a pack of felt tips or fineliners if you’d like.
When will it arrive?
Before you pay, we show the date it arrives by. It goes by tracked post, and we email you the tracking link when it’s on its way.
Can I send it back?
You can cancel for any reason within 14 days of the day your order arrives. Send the books back unused and we’ll refund you in full within 14 days of getting them back. Return postage is yours to pay, unless something is faulty. Your legal rights aren’t affected. Within 30 days, if anything’s wrong with the book, we replace or refund it, even if you’ve started. Your legal rights aren’t affected. How cancelling works.
Is it suitable for children?
Yes, for all ages from 8. The spiral binding isn’t meant for small children.
Can I mix titles in a pack?
Yes. Any titles, or the same one twice. The pack discount comes off by itself in your basket: 2 books 10% off, 3 books 15%, 4 books 20%, 5 or more 25%.
Can I post a pack to different people?
Not yet: a pack goes to one address in one parcel. For different addresses, place separate orders.
